So... I decided on the next costume to work on! I considered it for Halloween, and I could get it in reasonable shape in time for Halloween, but it won't be just right... but, Halloween time was THE time to do shopping for it, since skeleton bones and other things not found year-round were readily available.... LOL. So I figured it'd be a great start towards next year's DragonCon.
What's it gonna be? The Corpse Bride!
I was lucky enough to find a dress to alter for the main skirt part. I'd love a long train one, but realistically, the sea of convention-goers is NOT conducive to wearing a long train, and not getting trampled, rofl. So this is less work. I just have to make the bodice part.
And, I can make a long veil anyway so that'll work.
